In September 2023, we began implementing the latest version of TugVision365 at KOTUG International B.V. (KOTUG). KOTUG is an innovative and leading maritime family company offering tug and maritime services worldwide, headquartered in Rotterdam.
Cloud software from Microsoft
After ten years, KOTUG is also the first to go live with the newest version of TugVision365 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, fully in the cloud! By choosing TugVision365 in the cloud, KOTUG invests in the future and benefits from automatic updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
ERP implementation
KOTUG consists of multiple companies in various countries, grouped and distributed over different databases:

To maintain these databases and avoid entering data in multiple places, they use Wormhole by Verosoft Design for synchronization.
Go-live of Single Ship Companies
In May of this year, we started implementing Single Ship Companies. In these entities, the investments, costs, and revenues of the tugboats sailing under the KOTUG flag are booked.
Internet coverage on the ocean
For the tugboats that sail globally, internet coverage is crucial. By using Starlink, all databases are connected in real time.
Go-live for operational company and operational tugboats
In June of this year, we went live with the following functionalities for the first operational company and operational tugboats in Australia:

- Documentation
- ICT Architecture
- Interfaces
- Planned Maintenance
- Procurement and Warehousing
