What Is Network Security?

Network security is the protection from the underlying network infrastructure against unauthorized access, misuse, or theft. The goal is to create a secure infrastructure so that devices, applications, and users can operate safely.

Network security combines multiple layers of defense at the edge and within the network. Each network security layer implements policies and controls. Authorized users are granted access to network resources, while malicious actors are prevented from carrying out exploits and threats.

Network security also helps you protect your company's proprietary information from attacks. Ultimately, it protects your reputation.

What is Mail Security?

More than 75% of targeted cyberattacks begin with an email. Hackers slip past gateways by tricking employees into, among other things, sharing sensitive information, revealing login credentials, and transferring money.

Avoid that sensitive information is shared or that login credentials are disclosed allowing hackers to take over an account. Hacked accounts are used to carry out further attacks within your organization, as well as against your customers and business partners. Once successful, these attacks disrupt business operations, cause financial damage, and jeopardize the company’s integrity.

What is Identity & Access Management?

More and more digital attacks on organizations are carried out via devices that are located within the network are, which is why securing the management of client devices has become a must for every company. Zero Trust and MFA have therefore become integral parts of this pillar.

Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a framework of business processes, policies, and technologies that facilitates the management of electronic or digital identities. An IAM framework enables IT managers to control users’ access to critical information within the organization—for both on-premises and cloud-based systems—and is an important part of your cybersecurity plan.

What Is User Awareness?

Companies are investing more and more in securing their networks. Securing your company’s systems is the first step. Equally important is teaching users how to work securely. After all, users are often the weakest link, and cybercriminals are all too eager to exploit that vulnerability.

Make sure your employees act as a human firewall that can fend off even the best phishing emails. Smart employees are the key to a robust cybersecurity plan.

What Is Incident Response?

Incident response is a set of information security policies and procedures that you can use to identify, contain, and eliminate cyberattacks.

The goal of incident response is to enable an organization to quickly detect and stop attacks, thereby minimizing damage and preventing future attacks of the same type.

What is Backup & Recovery?

Data is one of the most important aspects of our daily lives, both personally and professionally. Many of us still don’t realize how easily and quickly a disruptive event can cause this data to disappear.

Backup and recovery refer to the process of creating and storing copies of your data that you can use to restore your organization’s services in the event of a primary data failure caused by a power outage, a ransomware attack, or another type of disaster. Backups allow you to restore your systems to a point in time prior to the loss or corruption of the data in order to restore services.
