Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you help build the data foundations of organizations.

You ensure that data is reliable, scalable, and accessible, so that customers can make better decisions and truly operate in a data-driven way.

From Challenge to Solution

You'll work on data platform projects for clients and help them take their data environment to the next level.

  • You design and build modern data platforms in Azure

  • You will develop and optimize data pipelines and data flows

  • You translate business logic into scalable data models and transformations

  • You integrate various data sources (including via APIs)

  • You ensure a smooth and reliable deployment to production

  • You'll work closely with stakeholders such as data analysts, data scientists, and business teams

  • You actively contribute ideas regarding performance, structure, and future-readiness

What you can do makes all the difference

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree·

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in data engineering or data platform projects

  • You have experience with SQL and ETL processes

  • You have knowledge of cloud computing (preferably Azure, but AWS, GCP, or Snowflake are also relevant)

  • You have experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or C#

  • You are familiar with data modeling and concepts such as the data lakehouse

  • You enjoy working in an agile/DevOps environment

  • You communicate fluently and interact effectively with various stakeholders

  • You speak Dutch fluently
