Infrastructure Consultant

As a Senior Infrastructure Consultant, you’ll bridge the gap between traditional infrastructure and the cloud.

You are an experienced infrastructure specialist with a strong foundation in servers, networks, virtualization, and security. But your role goes beyond just technology. You combine in-depth knowledge with a distinctly hands-on approach and a strong consulting mindset.

You work closely with clients, analyze their context, and guide them in making strategic decisions. At the same time, you stay grounded in reality: you actively participate in building, configuring, and optimizing their environments.

Hybrid environments, Microsoft 365, and Azure aren’t just buzzwords to you—they’re logical building blocks in a modernization strategy that you help shape and implement together with the client.

In addition, you’ll be the go-to person for complex infrastructure issues and challenging configurations. You bring order to chaos, maintain a clear overview, and deliver solutions where others get stuck.

Within the team, you’ll take on a leadership role: you’ll support your colleagues, actively share your knowledge, and help them develop their technical and consulting skills.

From Challenge to Solution

  • You analyze customer environments and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization

  • You design and implement infrastructure solutions: on-premises, hybrid, and cloud (Microsoft 365 & Azure)

  • You will oversee migrations and transformation projects to the cloud

  • You proactively advise clients on strategy, security, performance, and future-oriented technology

  • You are the point of contact for complex infrastructure issues and critical configurations

  • You take ownership of technical issues and maintain a clear overview in challenging situations

  • You document information clearly and in a structured manner

  • You will support projects and presales with both technical and subject-matter expertise

  • You support your colleagues, share knowledge, and help them develop their expertise

  • You'll work with colleagues from the cloud, network, and workplace teams to deliver integrated solutions

What you can do makes all the difference

  • At least 4 years of experience as an Infrastructure Consultant

  • Strong knowledge of on-premises infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, storage, etc.)

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Azure in hybrid environments

  • Understanding security, identity, and modern infrastructure concepts

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience: You have personally built, migrated, and optimized infrastructures

  • knowledge of network design, routing, switching, security, and troubleshooting

  • Strong consulting profile: you advise clients, provide guidance, and translate technical decisions into business impact

  • You will serve as the technical point of contact and trusted advisor within projects and support

  • You find fulfillment in supporting and helping your colleagues grow

  • You communicate clearly and professionally, even with non-technical stakeholders
