Business Central Project Lead

As a Project Lead at TCOG, part of Alistar, you’ll serve as the technical anchor for challenging implementation and optimization projects. You ensure quality, provide clarity, and make sure that consultants, developers, and clients work together toward solutions that work today and will continue to work tomorrow. From Challenge to Solution

Your role lies at the intersection of substantive guidance, advice, and collaboration:

  • You will provide strategic direction for implementation and optimization projects within Business Central, LS Central, and itSuitsFashion 365, and ensure that design, configuration, and implementation form a cohesive whole

  • You ensure the quality, coherence, and consistency of solutions and evaluate options based on quality, scalability, manageability, and alignment with the architecture, standard solutions, client objectives, and TCOG best practices

  • You'll work closely with the Project Manager. While the Project Manager focuses on planning, progress, budget, and scope, you'll ensure consistency in content and monitor the impact of content-related decisions on the project.

  • You’ll serve as the subject-matter expert and sounding board for consultants, developers, and clients. You’ll bring people together, foster collaboration, and ensure that the team works toward a single, clear goal.

  • You serve as a knowledgeable and reliable point of contact for the client and translate complex issues into clear, practical, and future-proof solutions

  • You identify substantive risks, dependencies, and inconsistencies early on and ensure that they are addressed in collaboration with the team, the Project Manager, and, where necessary, the client

  • You ensure the quality of design, implementation, testing, documentation, and handover, and prevent solutions from becoming fragmented or deviating unnecessarily from the standard

  • You share knowledge, support colleagues, and feed back lessons learned to the organization. In this way, you contribute to standardization, knowledge retention, and the continued professional development of TCOG within Alistar

In short: you don’t just ensure that a project is carried out properly. You keep an eye on the big picture, bring people and expertise together, and help determine how we can continually improve the way we approach projects.

What you can do makes all the difference

We're not looking for a perfect resume, but rather someone who is confident and experienced in Business Central:

  • HBO-level work and thinking skills

  • Several years of experience with implementations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

  • Experience as a senior consultant, solution lead, or in a similar role with substantive responsibility

  • A solid understanding of business processes, system architecture, integrations, and dependencies within ERP and retail environments

  • Experience with or an interest in retail or fashion is a strong advantage

  • You can evaluate content-related decisions based on quality, coherence, scalability, and manageability

  • You have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a structured approach

  • You take ownership and know how to get people on board with the details

  • You work independently and are results-oriented, and you’re not afraid to take on responsibility

  • You're curious about new opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem and want to keep learning
