Network & Infrastructure Consultant

As a Network & Infrastructure Consultant, you’ll design, build, and optimize networks that truly help organizations move forward: secure, high-performing, and ready for the future.

You combine in-depth expertise in networking and firewalls with a distinctly hands-on approach and a strong consulting mindset.  You don’t just stand on the sidelines—you actively participate in the client’s environment: you analyze, configure, implement, and optimize. At the same time, you’re a trusted advisor who guides clients through strategic decisions and complex issues.

From design to implementation: you ensure that your clients’ infrastructure operates reliably, both today and tomorrow. While other roles focus on the cloud or the Modern Workplace, you are the specialist in connectivity, security, and network architecture—the foundation on which everything runs.

In addition, you’re the go-to person for complex network issues and challenging configurations. Colleagues and customers count on your expertise when things get tough. You take ownership and bring calm, structure, and a solution.

You also play an important role within the team: you support your colleagues, share your knowledge, and help them grow. You take not only your clients but also your team to the next level.

From Challenge to Solution

  • You analyze customers' network and security needs and translate them into stable, scalable solutions

  • You design and implement network architectures (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls) tailored to the client's environment and growth

  • You configure, optimize, and secure network and firewall solutions with a focus on performance and continuity

  • You proactively advise clients on network strategy, security best practices, and technological innovations

  • You'll oversee implementations from start to finish: from design and configuration to testing and delivery

  • You solve complex network problems with insight and composure, both on-site and remotely

  • You document network architectures, configurations, and procedures in a clear and structured manner

  • You'll work with colleagues from the service, cloud, and workplace teams to deliver integrated solutions

What you can do makes all the difference

  • At least 4 years of experience in networking and firewall technologies

  • Strong knowledge of network design, routing, switching, security, and troubleshooting

  • Experience configuring and managing firewall and VPN solutions

  • Proven hands-on experience: You not only know how to do it, but you’ve also actually built, configured, and deployed it in production

  • Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, storage, etc.)

  • Experience with Microsoft 365

  • Strong consulting profile: You can advise, challenge, and guide clients in their decisions, with an eye for both technical and business impact

  • A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently

  • Clear communication: You make complex technology easy for customers to understand

  • A curiosity about new technologies and the drive to continue developing yourself
