Please read the information in this Privacy Statement carefully before completing the installation process and before you start using the App. With this Privacy Statement, we would like to inform you about how this App (may) use your (personal) data and/or the personal data of others, and how Alistar Nederland B.V. or one of its subsidiaries (“Alistar”) respects your privacy in general. By installing and/or using the App, you consent to the use of your (personal) data as described in this Privacy Statement. If you do not consent to such use, do not install or use the App!
GENERAL
Your privacy is important to us. Alistar has a strict privacy policy regarding the processing and protection of your personal data. Our privacy policy applies to all data we collect from you through our app(s), websites, Customer Portal, by phone, by mail, in writing, or through personal contact.
Alistar respects your privacy. We ensure that the personal data you provide to us is treated confidentially. Personal data is processed in accordance with the requirements of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR).
You do not have to register or provide any personal information to visit our website. If you use Alistar’s Customer Portal, you will be given a personal account. To do so, simply provide us with your name and email address.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES THE APP PROCESS?
The (Personal) data that you submit through the App to your own environment or to the environment of others will be processed by Alistar. Alistar will not access this data, use this data, or share this data with others. The data controller is responsible for determining which (Personal) data Alistar will process. Alistar processes (Personal) data solely on behalf of the data controller.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES ALISTAR PROCESS?
Alistar processes personal data if consent has been granted, if you visit our Customer Portal, use services we offer through our website or app, and/or if you provide us with data via our website, email, or in any other way. The personal data we may process include:;
- First name, space, and last name,
- Gender and title,
- (mobile) phone number,
- Email address,
- Job title and job description,
- IP address,
- Other (personal) data that you enter or submit on your own initiative, for example, in a contact form,
- Other matters as described in our cookie policy.
Alistar aims to process only those personal data that are strictly necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. Not all of the above information is processed in every case.
In addition to regular personal data, we also process special categories of personal data and/or sensitive data when you use certain services we offer through our website and/or when you provide them to us through our website. Below is an overview of the special categories of personal data and/or sensitive data that we may process on our website;
- login credentials for the Alistar Customer Portal,
- a resume you sent,
- a cover letter that you submitted with your application.
DO I HAVE ACCESS TO MY PERSONAL DATA?
You have the right to access, correct, or request that we delete your personal data. You also have the right to prevent your personal data from being (temporarily) processed, transferred, or subject to automated individual decision-making.
If you log in to the Customer Portal, you can view, change, or, if you wish, request that we delete your personal data. If you are not an Alistar customer and/or do not have access to the Customer Portal, but would like to know what personal data we have collected from you, you can contact us at privacy@Alistar.nl or in writing. Upon request, we will provide you with access to your personal data within one month and can correct it, delete it, or forward it to a third party upon request. Alistar may, in some cases, ask you to verify your identity before we can process a request.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
You agree that we may use your personal data to grant you access to our services and App(s) and to provide you with support through our Customer Portal, by email, or by telephone. We process your personal data so that we can communicate with you—either because you have submitted an application to us or so that we can provide you with information about the products and services we offer.
Lawfulness of Processing
The legal grounds for processing that we rely on are: your explicit consent; processing that is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or the organization for which you work; or where we have a legitimate (marketing) interest in doing so. For example, to inform you about (new) products, services, and other commercial activities.
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:;
- for sending our newsletter and mailings.
- to be able to provide services to you through our website and/or customer portal,
- to be able to contact you if you fill out a contact form or a survey, or participate in a marketing activity,
- for the identification, authentication, and authorization of users of our Customer Portal,
- In order to respond to your application, please submit your cover letter and/or resume.
HOW LONG IS MY DATA STORED?
Alistar does not store or process collected personal data for any longer than is strictly necessary—or legally required—to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected. We use the following retention periods for this:;
- you have applied to us; If your application does not result in an employment contract, we will delete your data within 30 days of the end of the application process,
- You or the organization you work for has an agreement with Alistar in which you are involved. We will process your personal data for the duration of the agreement or until you or your (former) employer requests that we delete it. Alistar processes such a request within 30 days,
- If you have subscribed to a newsletter, you can ask us to delete your data at any time (and/or withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter). Alistar will process such a request within 30 days,
- You have entered your contact information via a web form on our website or provided it to us via email, in writing, or over the phone because you want information and/or advice from us. We will process your data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which you provided it. In all cases, we will delete your personal data within 30 days upon your request. If we have not been in contact with you for more than one year, your data will be automatically deleted unless Alistar has a legitimate interest in continuing to process it.
WILL MY DATA BE SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES?
You have the option to submit (personal) data through the App or share it with others. You are fully responsible for informing the data subjects of your use of their (personal) data and, if necessary, for obtaining their consent for such use.
When using the App, you are responsible for complying with the legal requirements, regulations, and laws of the country where you use it. This includes compliance with the legal requirements of the countries where the data subjects reside. Alistar does not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless it is necessary in connection with the performance of a contract you have entered into with us in which you are a data subject, to ensure that the App functions properly, if required by law, or if you request that we do so. In the event of suspected fraud or misuse of our App, websites, or services, we may disclose personal data to the competent authorities.
Alistar enters into agreements, where applicable, with other parties to ensure lawful, proper, and transparent data processing. For data processing, Alistar only works with organizations that maintain the same level of security and confidentiality as we do.
Alistar uses the HubSpot marketing tool. In certain cases, your personal data may be transferred to a HubSpot server in the United States. HubSpot is certified under the Privacy Shield and therefore complies with Article 45, ‘Transfers on the basis of an adequacy decision,’ of the GDPR. Third-party apps or websites
Our Privacy Statement does not apply to third-party apps or to websites linked to our app or website. Alistar cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statements of these third parties before using their apps, services, or websites.
Social media buttons
Our websites include buttons that allow you to promote and share web pages or information on social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. These buttons set cookies.
These buttons work by using code provided by these social networks themselves. We have no control over that. Please read the privacy policies of these networks to learn how they handle the (personal) data they may collect from you through these cookies.
WILL MY PERSONAL DATA BE SAFE?
Alistar takes appropriate organizational and technical data protection measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, and other unauthorized actions involving personal data. These measures are outlined in our data protection policy.

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file that is automatically stored on your computer when you visit our website. This allows us, for example, to save your preferences so that you do not have to re-enter them every time you visit. You can disable cookies through your browser.
