In September 2023, we began implementing the latest version of TugVision365 at KOTUG International B.V. (KOTUG). KOTUG is an innovative and leading maritime family-owned company that provides its towing and maritime services worldwide, with its headquarters located in Rotterdam.

After 10 years, KOTUG is also the first to go live with the latest version of TugVision365 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central—entirely in the cloud! KOTUG consists of various companies in different countries that are grouped and organized across different databases:

To maintain these databases and avoid having to enter data in multiple places, we use Wormhole by Verosoft Design for synchronization.
Launch of Single Ship Companies
In May of this year, we began implementing Single Ship Companies. The investments, costs, and revenues of the tugboats sailing under the KOTUG flag are recorded in these companies.
Internet coverage at sea
Internet coverage is very important for KOTUG’s tugboats, which operate worldwide. By using Starlink All databases are connected to each other in real time.
Launch of Operational Services and Operational Tugboats
In June of this year, we went live with the following features at the first operational company and on operational tugboats in Australia:

- Crewing Operations
- Documentation
- ICT Architecture
- Interfaces
- Scheduled Maintenance
- Procurement and Warehousing
We now have real-time insight into our business management and operations, both onshore and offshore, across all our geographic locations.
