This applies to sending emails (SMTP). Support for incoming email had already ended in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within applications such as&nbsp;<strong>Exact Globe<\/strong>&nbsp;SMTP with Basic Authentication is often used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the application, go to System &gt; General &gt; User Settings &gt; the \u2018Output\u2019 tab &gt; the \u2018Email\u2019 section. If the SMTP option is selected here, the discontinuation of Basic Authentication will affect your setup.
