To set up email from Microsoft Office 365 on an Apple smartphone, follow these five steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1.\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Go to Settings<\/strong> On the device, scroll down to Email <\/strong>and click on Accounts<\/strong> >Add an account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> If your device hasn't been updated to iOS 10, go to Settings<\/strong> > Email, Contacts, Calendars<\/strong> > Add an account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select Exchange<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the email address, password, and a description of your Microsoft Office 365 account. Then click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> Your email address must be your work or school account for Microsoft Office 365, such as naam@domein.com<\/em>, naam@domein.onmicrosoft.com<\/em> or naam@schoolnaam.edu<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are prompted to enter server settings, enter the information below and tap Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Email<\/strong>: the full email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Server<\/strong>: outlook.office365.com<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Username<\/strong>: the full email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Password<\/strong>: the password for your email account<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note:<\/strong> Check carefully to make sure everything is spelled correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 5.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You may be asked for certain permissions; tap Yes<\/strong> to agree. Next, select the apps from the email account that you want to sync with your iOS device, and tap Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note:<\/strong> If you are asked to create a passcode, tap Continue<\/strong> and enter a numeric passcode. If you are prompted to set a passcode and you do not do so, you will not be able to access this account on the device. You can also set a passcode later through Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
