Excel is a well-known tool for many people and is available on most computers. However, to truly benefit from customer data and manage customer relationships efficiently\u2014especially when dealing with a database of thousands of contacts\u2014you need more than just Excel. In this blog post, we\u2019ll <strong>6 Reasons Why You Should Replace Excel With <a href=\"https:\/\/alistar.net\/en\/crm\/\">CRM<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Customer information is collected in one place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When using Excel, it\u2019s common to have a single master Excel spreadsheet that various employees save and edit locally. There\u2019s a good chance that the changes made to these local spreadsheets aren\u2019t synced back to the master Excel spreadsheet. As a result, all the information is scattered, and you don\u2019t have a single file with completely accurate customer data. Marketing and sales have a better understanding of what each other is doing\u2014for example, which marketing campaigns have been launched and how many and what kind of leads (potential customers) these have generated. Integration with email<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most commonly used methods of communicating with customers remains <strong>email<\/strong>. If you don\u2019t use a CRM system, all these emails usually end up stuck in your employees\u2019 individual mailboxes. The downside of this is that important customer information or appointments aren\u2019t shared with colleagues. If, for example, a colleague leaves the company, all this valuable information is lost, and following up with customers becomes very difficult. Each security role offers a set of permissions that define whether users can read, write, create, or share records.
