Hubo is one of the largest players in the market for do-it-yourself sector<\/a> and focuses on this market with an extensive, high-quality selection of brand-name products.

They manage approximately 430,000 items<\/strong> in the 159 stores<\/strong> and have an average sales area of more than 2,000 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Hubo began looking for a new point-of-sale system for its stores in 2010, they turned to Alistar, since Alistar already had years of experience working with independent business owners in the DIY sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This source of knowledge was a deciding factor for Hubo in choosing Alistar, as they were looking for a partner who understood what a DIY store was all about and could help them identify ways to optimize their various business processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real-time synchronization with millions of transactions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the central level, the group uses SAP, for which Alistar provided interfaces to ensure a continuous flow of data on products, customers, and more\u2026

All sales data is also synchronized in real time from the stores to the headquarters in Wommelgem. All of this quickly adds up to about 15 million sales receipts per year, 2 million invoice customers, and 5 million loyalty card customers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Efficient Sales Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On average, there are 10 users of the Alistar-Robinson application in Hubo stores, and this software is used throughout the entire sales process, from quotes to orders to invoicing.

Robinson also handles the processing of online orders, which account for about 25,000 orders per month. In total, the group has approximately 400 cash registers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alistar software is also available at Plafomat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Hubo, Plafomat stores also use Alistar's software. The 10 stores in this group cater to professionals in the construction and industrial sectors with an extensive selection of building materials, hardware, and tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hubo\u2019s 159 stores include both company-owned stores and stores operated by franchisees.

Alistar-Robinson provides different invoicing workflows for these various store types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
