Stokvis Tapes is a supplier of self-adhesive tapes. Cell phones, airplanes, apartment buildings\u2014you name it, tapes are used in all kinds of applications. As an independent tape supplier, they can provide the best products from all major brands, offering a complete range of self-adhesive tapes. In addition, they can cut, laminate, and die-cut these tapes to any desired size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before the Dynamics NAV era, from 1999 to 2012, we used ASW, a Swedish ERP package that had undergone extensive customization. This ERP package had become severely outdated over the years because we hadn\u2019t updated it. There had been so many customizations from the start that an update would have been disproportionately expensive. Meanwhile, the version of the old ERP package was no longer officially supported. In the meantime, the Stokvis Tape Group had been acquired by Illinois Tool Works (ITW), and ITW primarily recommended Dynamics NAV as the ERP system.
Back when we were still using ASW, we had already stopped filing and printing copies of invoices. After all, you can look them up in your ERP system. To take this a step further, Alistar gave us the opportunity to save on costs and labor by sending our outgoing invoices via Dynamics NAV as PDF attachments by email. This has reduced the costs of outgoing mail to a minimum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on guidance from our parent company and following discussions within the Stokvis Tape Group, we decided to choose the software package that ITW typically uses. In addition, one of our sister companies had already implemented Dynamics NAV in Norway, and those were sufficient reasons to take the plunge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the implementation process, Alistar\u2019s consultants were quick to adapt and configured things on the spot according to our needs. As a result, tasks that didn\u2019t require extensive programming could be completed quickly. The go-live went virtually flawlessly and was a relief. This was in contrast to our previous software package, with which we had encountered some serious problems...
When there\u2019s an urgent matter, Alistar helps us right away, whether or not our regular consultant is involved. For less urgent matters, we agree on when work will begin, and we\u2019re very happy with that way of working.
