Exact as a central system<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Wellantcollege Service Center uses various solutions that all communicate with each other thanks to Exact. Heinerman explains: \u201cAll of our students are registered in the Core Participant Registry (KRD), a software package for educational institutions that we helped develop. When we need to invoice tuition, we export the student data from KRD to Exact Financials<\/a>. Financials, in turn, continuously exchanges information with Exact Synergy<\/a>, for example, when invoices need to be paid. This is a fairly complicated process, but the bottom line is that Exact is the hub of our operations. The software gives us an overview and ensures that all our administrative programs are coordinated. Without Exact, everything here would come to a standstill.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wellantcollege is also very pleased with its Exact partner. Heinerman: \u201cAlistar is very customer-focused and listens carefully to our needs. They also never say something can\u2019t be done, but instead proactively and creatively seek a solution. We\u2019ve had different experiences in the past; Alistar really stands out in a positive way.\u201d Farkas adds: \u201cThere\u2019s always a consultant ready to assist us, and we also have our own customer portal where we can ask questions.     Previous situation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Before the merger, the Wellantcollege Foundation used various software programs. Each business unit maintained its own records, primarily in Exact for DOS. This was very time-consuming. For example, daily statements had to be entered manually, and the accounts payable process was inefficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wellantcollege now maintains a single centralized administrative system for all of its locations, resulting in significant time savings. Daily statements are imported automatically, and the accounts payable process has been digitized, ensuring that invoices no longer get lost.     Wellantcollege has been using Exact Financials since 2003 and Exact Synergy since 2007. Head of Accounting Robert Heinerman: \u2018From 2001 to 2003, the accounting records were still maintained separately in Exact for DOS. We then consolidated all the separate ledgers into a single ledger within Exact. This saved us a tremendous amount of time, because previously we had to perform all administrative tasks separately for each business unit; now we can do it all at once. We also looked at a number of other solutions at the time, but none of them convinced us to switch away from Exact. Exact seemed to us to be the best fit for large organizations, such as Wellantcollege.
