In the maritime market, relationships are very important; everything revolves around performance and technology. We understand that better than anyone. As a result, we have grown significantly in recent years. This has implications for the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We work here with a great group of technical people. Together, we do everything: from sales to technical work to handling requests. The only thing missing is that we handle everything ourselves. It\u2019s almost impossible to add to that team. We\u2019re like a train in full swing, and jumping on board just like that isn\u2019t easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our people have so much knowledge in their heads\u2014you can't just capture that. To be able to get more work done, we had to make our processes more efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
At CENTA, we have been working with Exact software modules for years, including both Exact Globe<\/a> if Exact Synergy<\/a>. We've been using Exact Synergy since 2006, but over the years it had actually turned into a sort of card index of customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So when we decided to streamline more processes, it made perfect sense to reach out to Exact first. They weren\u2019t able to provide us with the right people and referred us to a good partner. That\u2019s how our initial contact came about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I immediately had a good feeling about working with them. I spoke with people who understood my questions and needs. Marc, Fernando, and Ren\u00e9 all take a very structured approach, are friendly, know their stuff, and\u2014perhaps most importantly to me\u2014they understand the impact on our business when things don\u2019t go well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Efficient Workflows<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
They helped us set up our customer relationship management (CRM) system and develop efficient workflows for various sales processes. These processes include receiving customer requests, issuing quotes, processing orders, actual production, and, finally, delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every process now takes place entirely using workflows in Exact Synergy<\/a>, after which it eventually ended up in Exact Globe<\/a>, through the order management system, the actual delivery and invoicing take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All business processes within Exact are now fully automated, and the flow of information is much better and more transparent than before, allowing us to act much more quickly and effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peace and quiet in the tent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
What I like is that people understand that I can't always take the lead. My primary goal isn't to automate; I want to help our business processes move forward in the smartest way possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It feels as though we\u2019re being supported as if we were a larger organization. They\u2019ve standardized the way our people receive information, and that brings a sense of calm to the workplace. As a result, we can focus our energy on more productive matters, such as our customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
