Dat gebeurt met een cryptografisch algoritme dat er voor zorgt dat enkel de persoon die de data verstuurt en de persoon die de data ontvangt deze kunnen lezen. Op deze manier bescherm je jouw data onderweg tegen onderschepping, maar ook tegen ongeoorloofde toegang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die encryptie kan op verschillende lagen gebeuren. Dat kan zowel op de datalaag gebeuren als op de transportlaag of binnen een bepaalde applicatie. Concepten die hieraan gekoppeld worden zijn SSL\/TLS encryptie, dat gebruikelijk is bij webverkeer. Daarnaast is er ook IPsec voor VPN en dan is er ook nog WPA dat gebruikt wordt om wifi netwerken te beschermen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cybersecurity houdt natuurlijk veel meer in dan enkel netwerk encryptie.
