Software and technology company ESC is expanding into the Dutch market with the acquisition of Qexpertise, based in Veenendaal. Qexpertise brings 40 experts in ERP, CRM, and business software to the group. Both companies are leading Microsoft and Exact partners in their respective regions. Following the acquisitions of SDE at the end of 2021 and Net-IT last year, ESC now counts over 265 technology specialists in business software, modern workplace solutions, and e-business.

A strong player in the Exact and Microsoft ecosystem

Qexpertise is a recognized expert in all Exact Software solutions. Additionally, it implements Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a specialized TRIMIT extension for the fashion and furniture industries. Its 40 employees serve mid-sized and large enterprises as well as semi-governmental organizations. Managing Director Pieter Jan Petermeijer will continue to lead Qexpertise and will become a shareholder in ESC Holding.

“ESC and Qexpertise both have a strong position in the Microsoft Dynamics and Exact Software market. We see this as a great opportunity to expand across borders while also offering our customers ESC’s extensive services portfolio. The ability to leverage each other’s strengths means we can provide even better solutions for our customers in the future.” – Pieter Jan Petermeijer, CEO of Qexpertise

“We speak the same language—and I don’t just mean Dutch, but the language of Dynamics 365, Exact, and business consultancy in general,” explains Benny Van Hyfte, CEO of ESC. “We saw a unique opportunity to combine our expertise. With over 265 IT specialists, we can now better meet the growing demand for smart technology solutions.”

Unleashing business potential through technology

*”We bring together leading technology and consulting companies so that modern businesses can unlock their full potential with our support. Together, we analyze, implement, and optimize *digital transformation journeys that deliver real value,” explains Van Hyfte.

Beyond business applications & BI, ESC offers a complete range of solutions for modern workplaces, including Microsoft 365, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and IT management. Meanwhile, its rapidly growing e-business division develops web applications, online portals, and e-commerce platforms for fast-scaling mid-sized and large businesses.

“Beyond the complementary culture and expertise at Qexpertise, this was also the perfect moment for our first international expansion. There is an incredible energy buzzing through our teams, which is further amplified by ESC’s move into brand-new headquarters in Ghent,” adds Robin Janssens, Investment Manager at Capital A.

“We are excited to join forces with our Dutch colleagues, combine our expertise, build innovative solutions, and continue our growth journey together.”
