We’re looking for a skilled and curious Application Support Engineer to join our development support team in Oeiras. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for investigating and resolving technical issues across multiple projects. You’ll dive into existing codebases, troubleshoot problems, and contribute to improving our systems—all while working closely with our development and support teams. You will also be asked, based on your investigations, to make estimations when it concerns a new feature the customer wants and will also be responsible for completing these changes.

This is a dynamic position that suits someone who enjoys switching contexts, solving puzzles, and supporting others with their technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve second-line technical issues across various applications and platforms.

  • Analyse and debug existing .NET code to identify root causes and implement fixes.

  • Collaborate with first-line support, developers, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Manage shifting priorities across multiple projects with agility and focus.

  • Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Complete estimations for small enhancements a customer requires

  • Deliver small projects for these enhancements

  • Provide insights and suggestions for improving system reliability and performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written) – clear communication is key.

  • Proven experience in .NET development – you’re comfortable navigating and improving existing code.

  • A natural problem-solver who enjoys switching between tasks and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to handle changing priorities and remain focused under pressure.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is a strong plus.

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support others.
