Challenge and Solution

Automatic Systems is the market leader in automated access control systems. The Automatic Systems Group operates globally with three manufacturing facilities and an international network of distribution companies, together employing approximately 315 people and generating revenue of 58.6 million euros in 2013. Automatic Systems previously used a cloud-based field service management system. When the vendor suddenly decided to discontinue the service, Automatic Systems had to urgently find an alternative.

Alistar developed a new field services management system for Automatic Systems based on the standard service module in Dynamics CRM, which included, among other features, a graphical scheduler.

When Automatic Systems visits its customers to perform maintenance or repairs on access control systems, the scheduling and follow-up for these tasks are handled through Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Alistar guided the transition to the new workflow, installed the software on Automatic Systems’ servers, and provided training to the users. The entire project was completed in just 4 months.

Our field services management system, based on Dynamics CRM, is essential for providing efficient and prompt service.
