The Wellantcollege Service Center uses various solutions that all communicate with each other thanks to Exact. Heinerman explains: “All of our students are registered in the Core Participant Registry (KRD), a software package for educational institutions that we helped develop. When we need to invoice tuition, we export the student data from KRD to Exact Financials. Financials, in turn, continuously exchanges information with Exact Synergy, for example, when invoices need to be paid. This is a fairly complicated process, but the bottom line is that Exact is the hub of our operations. The software gives us an overview and ensures that all our administrative programs are coordinated. Without Exact, everything here would come to a standstill.”

Previous situation
Before the merger, the Wellantcollege Foundation used various software programs. Each business unit maintained its own records, primarily in Exact for DOS. This was very time-consuming. For example, daily statements had to be entered manually, and the accounts payable process was inefficient.
Solution
Wellantcollege now maintains a single centralized administrative system for all of its locations, resulting in significant time savings. Daily statements are imported automatically, and the accounts payable process has been digitized, ensuring that invoices no longer get lost. Exact also provides a clear overview, and the software integrates seamlessly with other applications.
