ESC Holding Acquires Net IT, Strengthening Its Expertise in Dynamics 365

Expansion of CRM and business application solutions for a digital-first future.
ESC Holding, now Alistar, Acquires Net IT, Strengthening Its Expertise in Dynamics 365

The ESC holding company continues its growth with the acquisition of Net IT. Net IT will continue to operate independently for the time being and can now make use of ESC’s central services. With this move, Flanders’ No. 1 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS partner and No. 1 Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement partner have become the premier center of expertise for Dynamics 365 and digital transformation. The group now has more than 220 technology specialists.

Net IT specializes in CRM applications for Dynamics 365, the Microsoft Power Platform, and the Azure cloud. Its 60 employees in Belgium and Portugal help organizations get the most out of their customer relationship management. In addition to medium-sized and large enterprises, the company serves many government organizations, higher education institutions, financial services organizations, service companies, membership organizations, and manufacturing and distribution companies. Directors Jan Hofman and Luc Van der Putten will continue to lead the operational management at Net IT and will become shareholders and members of the board of directors of ESC Holding. The entire Net IT team will remain on board.

Luc Van der Putten explains: “Our goal as a company was to grow even faster. This, of course, presents challenges in terms of organizational structure, HR, marketing, and sales. By joining the group, we can quickly address these challenges.”

“We view this step as a very positive development that will lead to further professionalization and offer opportunities to our employees. We were also strongly drawn to the ambition to become the largest Dynamics partner in Belgium and the Benelux. The Net IT team will be the driving force behind the group’s customer engagement activities in this endeavor,” concludes Jan Hofman.

The acquisition fits perfectly within ESC’s strategy to become the leading ICT provider in the Benelux region, together with Net IT. The group’s customers will also benefit from a broader service portfolio. In addition to enterprise applications and business intelligence, organizations can find everything they need for modern workplaces—ranging from Microsoft 365 and the cloud to cybersecurity and IT management. Meanwhile, the rapidly expanding e-business division builds web applications, online portals, and web stores for fast-growing SMEs.

“We welcome our Net IT colleagues with open arms to the ESC holding company, which now counts 220 technology specialists. Together, we can even better help companies and organizations get a head start on their digital transformation. By bringing all these areas of expertise together under one roof, we offer companies a platform that evolves alongside the ever-changing challenges of digital transformation,” adds Benny Van Hyfte, CEO of ESC.

With this acquisition, two leading Microsoft partners are also joining forces.
