What 150 Professionals Say About AI in the Workplace

We surveyed 150 organizations in Belgium and the Netherlands—three-quarters of which were decision-makers—about the state of AI. The picture is strikingly clear: Belief in AI is overwhelming, but implementation is lagging behind.

87% sees AI as a huge opportunity, and 92% is already experiencing a tangible impact. But only 6% has broadly integrated AI, barely 13% has a strategy, and 41% has no one in charge. AI is being encouraged more quickly than it is being properly managed—and the biggest concern is not privacy, but erroneous output (45%).

The conclusion? AI is a reality in people's minds and in day-to-day productivity, but it's still just hype within the organization. The key to success no longer lies in persuasion, but rather in governance, ownership, and bridging the gap between management and the workforce.

One respondent summed it up aptly: In our organization today, AI feels mainly like “a train that hasn’t left yet, but hopefully will before it’s too late.”
