Choosing a strong password is crucial for the security of your Business Cloud domain account.
If you have a domain account for the Business Cloud, you will initially receive a password generated by us to log in. It is important that you change this to a password of your own choosing as soon as possible.
We have the following requirements for passwords in the Business Cloud:
- At least 8 characters
- At least 3 of the following 4 character types: a number, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a punctuation mark
- No parts of the account, such as your first name or last name
- A newly set password cannot be changed again until 24 hours have passed
We recommend using the first letters of a sentence followed by a number. For example: “My mother lives in Sao Paolo since 1969” would become “MmliSPs1969” as a password.
