Featured Session: One Platform for Projects, Production, and Service

There’s no need to manage projects and production without a clear overview. In this blog, you’ll discover how Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, enhanced with ProVision365, brings together projects, production, and service in a single integrated system to give you control over scheduling, costs, margins, and customer service.
Gservice | A single, comprehensive solution for project and service management

Do you work on a project basis, but also deal with production and service? Then you’re surely familiar with the complexity: separate systems for engineering, projects, procurement, production, logistics, and after-sales. Fragmented data, limited real-time insight, and pressure on margins and lead times.

On "Think Tech, Speak Human" on June 2 in Barneveld Let's see how you can simplify that complexity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, expanded to include ProVision365, Alistar’s industry-specific solution for project-based (manufacturing) companies.

A single platform for projects, production, and service

In this session, you'll discover how an integrated ERP platform brings all core processes together in a single environment—from quotes and project estimates to production, delivery, service, and financial processing.

Among other things, we'll show you how to:

  • Projects rely on real-time insight into scheduling, budgets, and progress;
  • links production orders directly to projects, for maximum control over costs and lead times;
  • seamlessly integrates service management, maintenance, work orders, and spare parts into your project administration;
  • prevents fragmentation and bases decisions on up-to-date data.

ProVision365: Designed specifically for project-based companies

ProVision365 is a powerful extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, developed for organizations that work with complex, project-driven processes. From mechanical engineering and steel construction to modular construction, the maritime industry, and greenhouse construction.

The solution extends Business Central with functionality for, among other things:

  • Project Quote Configurator
    Configure projects—from new construction to service—using templates. Select activities and products, calculate one-time costs, and generate quotes instantly. Once approved, the quote is automatically converted into a project, including all detailed information.
  • Advanced Project Management & Cost Control
    Use baselines, forecasts, and change orders to monitor budgets, identify variances early on, and implement changes in a controlled manner. Support for various billing methods, multiple clients per project, and billing in foreign currencies.
  • Work Preparation, Procurement, and Scheduling
    Use comprehensive job and task planning for engineering and work planning. Link material specifications directly to purchasing and production processes, with a direct link between planning and purchase orders.
  • Logistics and Warehousing
    Support for project-specific logistics scenarios: from drop shipping to project sites, packaging, and shipping. Includes job inventory, warehouse transactions, and integration with handheld scanners.
  • CRM, Service, After-Sales, and Warranty
    Centrally manage installations, components, maintenance, and service contracts. Combine service calls with scheduled maintenance, document warranty agreements, and support overhaul and spare parts processes.
  • Fully Integrated Financial Management
    Projects, work in progress, order intake, accounts payable, and accounts receivable are fully integrated with Business Central’s financial accounting system—ensuring reliable reporting and margin control.
