Message Queuer for Azure Service Bus

Do you use Exact software and want to integrate data with other applications in real time? The Message Queuer automatically forwards database events to the Azure Service Bus, enabling systems to communicate with each other reliably. Thanks to its flexible configuration, you can decide which events are sent and how messages are structured.

What is an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)?

In the modern business world, organizations work with a large number of systems, each with its own language and operating procedures. To achieve maximum efficiency, seamless integration between these systems is essential.

The Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) acts as the link between different data streams from various systems and ensures that information reaches the correct destination. With mechanisms such as messages, queues, topics, and subscribers, the ESB offers a streamlined and well-organized solution.

How does it work?

The Exact Message Queuer for Azure Service Bus operates on an event-driven basis within Exact. As soon as a change occurs—such as creating or modifying an item—a message can be automatically sent to the Azure Service Bus. These messages are then made available to other applications or processes connected to it.

Which events should be monitored and which data should be included in the message are fully configurable. This ensures that the system aligns with your organization’s processes and information needs.

The Azure Service Bus acts as the central link between systems. Messages are processed in a structured and reliable manner via queues, topics, and subscriptions and forwarded to the correct destination. This creates a scalable integration layer that allows applications to exchange data in real time without being directly dependent on one another.

Who are our customers?

We work for the following clients, among others. Here is a selection of organizations that rely on our expertise.

Microsoft's Azure Service Bus

Azure Service Bus, part of the Microsoft Azure platform, serves as Microsoft's Enterprise Service Bus. With this powerful solution, part of the infrastructure is managed by Microsoft itself, enabling a quick and efficient deployment.

Why a Central Connectivity Hub?

Azure Service Bus is a versatile integration layer that can connect both internal and external systems. Communication between these systems is secure and structured, flowing through a single central infrastructure. This results in a well-organized IT landscape with clear management and maximum control.

Benefits of Azure Service Bus

  • Load Balancing: Distribute import processes across multiple servers without the risk of duplicate imports, thanks to load balancing among concurrent “workers.”.
  • Secure Data Transfer: Securely send and route data between Exact, applications, and external systems via a single central infrastructure.
  • Real-Time Data Exchange: Automatically send messages based on events in Exact, so that connected systems have immediate access to up-to-date information.
  • Reliable Message Processing: Make sure that messages are processed with a high degree of reliability and don't fall through the cracks.
  • Flexible Configuration: Decide for yourself which events to monitor and which data to include in reports.
  • Support for Multiple Systems: Make a single event automatically available to multiple applications, services, or administrative systems.
  • Scalable Integration Architecture: Easily integrate new systems and processes without complex point-to-point connections between applications.

How does this benefit your organization?

With the Message Queuer and Azure Service Bus, you can make data exchange between Exact and other systems faster, more reliable, and easier to manage. Information does not need to be manually transferred or periodically synchronized; instead, it can be made immediately available to connected applications.

Because messages are processed centrally, there is greater control over integrations within the IT landscape. At the same time, the risk of errors or missing data is reduced. Thanks to reliable message processing, processes continue to function stably even at higher volumes.

For organizations, this means more efficient business processes, less reliance on custom point-to-point integrations, and a better foundation for further automation. In addition, the scalability of Azure Service Bus makes it easier to connect new applications or processes without having to reconfigure existing integrations. As a result, the integration environment grows alongside the organization’s development.
