Microsoft has announced that support for Basic Authentication on SMTP within Office 365 will end in September 2025. This applies to sending emails (SMTP). Support for incoming email had already ended in 2023.
Within applications such as TVM Suite SMTP with Basic Authentication is (often) used.
In Exact Synergy, go to Modules > Add-on > Setup > Custom Add-on Menu > Mailboxes > click on the mailbox > Authentication Type field. If the "Basic" or "Anonymous" option is selected here, this termination will affect your situation.
In that case, you'll need to switch to OAuth2.
