About seven years ago, we chose Exact's software—to be precise, Exact Globe and Exact Synergy. We only have a small IT department ourselves, so we asked consultants from Exact’s headquarters to set up the environment for us. Unfortunately, their approach didn’t quite suit our needs.
We are a company that operates with a high degree of flexibility. With our team of 120 men and women, we’re highly agile. In stark contrast is a large organization that delivers excellent software but proved to be less flexible. Over time, we came to the conclusion that we needed a smaller, more flexible partner to truly get the most out of the software.
We now always have reliable and relevant management information available.

Quick Thinking
We had a good feeling about Qexpertise—now Alistar—right from the start. As it turned out, we were right, because they’re a flexible partner who thinks along with us and with whom we can adapt quickly.
If we ever need extra capacity—whether due to an emergency or because we want to roll out a new feature on short notice—they can always work something out so we get prompt assistance.
Transparent and relevant
Our biggest challenge was to set up the core processes in Exact in such a way that our information flows are quickly and easily visible to the various levels and divisions of the organization. We also needed to make the associated document flow more efficient.
Not everything we want is included in Exact by default. Alistar has ensured that the Exact environment still meets our needs through additional add-ons and apps. For example, they’ve optimized our processes and workflows to be as efficient as possible, without requiring any custom software development.
All of our work processes have now been automated, and our information systems are highly transparent. This allows us to collaborate easily and effectively, and ensures that we always have reliable and relevant management information at our disposal.
Valuable contribution
They were extremely helpful in optimizing our work processes and provided our IT team with the necessary operational guidance.
The consultants—whether it’s our regular consultant Eduard Winterman, our point of contact John Bijster, or one of his colleagues—have a thorough understanding of the software and really think along with us. Sometimes I have a specific solution in mind. Then Eduard, with his knowledge and expertise, can come up with surprising alternatives. That input is extremely valuable.
