Alphatron Medical is migrating to Exact Globe+

To keep this digital environment up-to-date and future-proof, Alphatron Medical recently switched from Exact Globe Next to Exact Globe+. Because Exact Globe works in tandem with Exact Synergy and various additional solutions and integrations within the company’s environment, this transition required more than just a technical migration. Alistar guided Alphatron Medical through the preparation, implementation, and deployment of the new environment.

The transition to Exact Globe+ went beyond a mere technical upgrade. Within Alphatron Medical, Exact Globe supports various business-critical processes, and the software plays a central role in the application landscape. In addition, Exact Globe is integrated with various solutions and interfaces, including Exact Synergy, Scan Sys, Sumatra Software, Orbis Software, Eddon Software, and Advanced Wordmerge+ from Alistar. 

The complexity stemmed primarily from the many interdependencies: a change in Exact Globe could also affect other systems, data flows, and processes. It was therefore crucial that all solutions continue to work together seamlessly even after the migration.

Careful preparation for the launch 

Together with Alphatron Medical, Alistar launched a comprehensive preparation process in which the existing environment was carefully analyzed. Alistar then set up a test environment where Alphatron Medical could validate the new system. By conducting acceptance tests, potential issues were identified and resolved in a timely manner before the system went live.
