“We were looking for a more efficient system for Membership Management – ”both for the clubs and for the federation”, ,“ says the IT manager of the Gymnastics Federation. “We used to work with an Access system, but it was no longer sufficient. Just as with the federation, all individual organizations kept track of information about members, coaches, practices, and competitions using Access. The goal was to provide affiliated members with a single universal system. The idea was to create a web application that would allow all clubs to enter their information online through a secure, login-protected section. Once logged in, each club needed to be able to enter and update its data. Alistar was one of the companies we approached for a quote. The fact that they were able to offer a competitive price was one of the main reasons we chose them.”

With a project like this, things don't always go smoothly from day one, but the team at Alistar is doing its best to resolve everything as effectively as possible. In terms of Helpfulness and Service We certainly can’t complain. We conducted a survey among the clubs. Sometimes they still have a few minor issues and questions, but those are all resolved quickly. Every club has its own unique characteristics, and everyone wants to see all of them incorporated into the system. Of course, that’s not possible, but we’re trying to find a middle ground. Together with Alistar, we take into account what clubs generally consider important and try to address those needs. We collect all the feedback and pass it on to the team at Alistar. We meet every month to go over changes and updates.
