The Solution
Quality Services uses Exact Software for its financial, logistics, inventory, and warehouse processes. They chose Alistar because of our expertise with Exact Software and our proprietary low-code platform, ‘MultiConnector,’ as well as Alistar Business Cloud, Elvy software, and Power BI.
Alistar’s integration software has established a connection between the QS app and Exact Software. Data from the QS app is fed into Exact. In addition, Quality Services uses Elvy’s software to process invoices and archive packing slips. All of Quality Services’ software is available via the Alistar Business Cloud, allowing them to work anytime, anywhere.
Information from various processes is consolidated into a single data model, so that Power BI reports can be built based on both Exact and the company's own QS app.

Integration with Exact Software
The Alistar custom solution ensures that data is synchronized from the QS app to Exact Software. This direct data transfer provides real-time updates, making up-to-date information available for financial reporting and decision-making. This eliminates the need for manual data entry, which both reduces the risk of errors and shortens processing time.

By running Exact Software in the Alistar Business Cloud, Quality Services benefits from features such as scalability, security, and accessibility. This enables them to access their data, systems, and processes anytime, anywhere.
“Working in the cloud has enabled us to achieve higher system availability. Our employees hardly notice any difference whether they use Exact on-premises or in the cloud, while in the background, it’s much more secure within Quality Services,” said Yanick van der Made.
Making Data-Driven Decisions with Power BI
All the data that Quality Services uses is available in their Power BI reports. This enables them to make data-driven decisions, which adds tremendous value to their business operations. Thanks to the Power BI integration, they gain insight into their financial, procurement, sales, and inventory processes, as well as route optimization.
Yanick is enthusiastic about the reports: “The systems make our process more streamlined, but the data enables us to generate even more profit across the entire organization. We started with a number of standard content packs that integrated directly with our Exact accounting system, and together with Alistar, we’ve developed additional reports.”.
A concrete example is making our logistics routes more transparent. By analyzing the routes in Power BI, we’ve been able to schedule various colleagues on more efficient routes, which has significantly increased our efficiency and freed up FTEs to focus on improving customer satisfaction.”
