Working with OneDrive
Document storage is an essential part of your company’s digital transformation to the cloud. Microsoft OneDrive replaces the traditional local ‘Documents’ folder and lets you work on documents from anywhere and on any device. It supports all kinds of files, such as text documents, music, and photos. Cloud storage can also serve as a backup solution.
Why You Should Use Microsoft OneDrive
For companies that already use Microsoft products, OneDrive is the perfect addition.
It's user-friendly
OneDrive is very easy to use. The interface is smart and designed to be very intuitive. So anyone who has even a basic understanding of how a typical computer file system works can get started right away.
Easy integration with Office 365
Almost all companies use Microsoft Office to create various types of documents. However, many of Office 365's standard features work even better when used in combination with OneDrive.
Ideal for remote work
With OneDrive, your team can collaborate on a document from different continents. It also ensures business continuity in the event of disruptions.
Automatic saving, version control, and write protection
The next time you accidentally close Word, your document will be saved automatically. Version control is also available for each document, and it's easy to recover deleted files.

The Difference Between OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams are different platforms for storing data. Since they are often confused with one another, we’ll briefly discuss the differences between these applications:
OneDrive
OneDrive is your personal cloud storage space, giving you access to your data from any device. It's convenient for making changes on the go, since they're immediately visible on all your devices. OneDrive also backs up your data. The documents stored in your OneDrive account are private. No one within the organization can view them.

Microsoft Teams
Teams is designed for collaborating with colleagues. You can quickly connect with each other and easily share files. Within Teams, you only store information that is relevant to a select group. By saving something in Teams, you ensure that this group has immediate access to the documents. This allows you to collaborate smoothly on various types of documents.

SharePoint
SharePoint is an online platform specifically designed for sharing documents across your entire company. It is a scalable platform where anyone can store data and the entire organization has immediate access. Do several of your departments regularly collaborate? If so, SharePoint is the perfect way to share documents.
