Palfinger

VDA Konstrukties (a Palfinger dealer) has been using Exact since 1997. ‘A controller joined our team who had experience with Exact from his previous job. That experience was positive, so VDA chose Exact for Windows for its financial administration and logistics,’ says Van den Aarsen. Palfinger is now successfully using both Exact Globe and Exact Synergy, according to Deputy Director Wouter van Den Aarsen. ’We’ve set up almost all our processes in Exact Globe, from logistics, inventory management, and sales orders to serial numbers and purchasing,” Van den Aarsen continues.

Garage Verspui: TruckVision and Exact

For Relead, a division of Alistar, we’re heading to Hoornaar, a charming little village in the Alblasserwaard, north of the Merwede River. With TruckVision, Relead has achieved the highest possible status as a Gold Partner with DAF Trucks, and Garage Verspui is the leading specialist when it comes to buying and selling new and used DAF Trucks. The circle is complete. What wasn’t quite complete, however, was the financial administration at Verspui. Outdated systems and plans for the future led Alistar and Garage Verspui to sit down together. We discuss how the process unfolded with Michelle Leeuwis-Bouwman, an accountant at Garage Verspui.

Conexus

Conexus was formed in 2008 through a merger of three parties. At that time, the organization chose Exact’s software and Alistar’s consulting and expertise to support the organization’s financial challenges. Exact was chosen because the software package is ideally suited for an educational institution. A small number of employees use Exact Globe for accounting. Exact is a fairly specialized package; you not only need to be familiar with the software itself, but you also need a solid background in accounting. The staff in the department have that knowledge, so that process is running smoothly. The information from Exact Globe must then be made available to internal users, primarily the budget managers. To that end, Conexus implemented Sumatra at the time, and it has a good interface with Exact. Sumatra is used to retrieve financial data and generate reports.
