NIS2: Protection Against Cyberattacks
This means taking steps to protect your computer, network, data, and online accounts from hackers, viruses, malware, and other threats that may come from the internet.
Service Protection Policies and Processes
Service protection policies and processes focus on establishing clear guidelines and procedures for protecting your services against cyberattacks. This includes the secure design, development, testing, delivery, and maintenance of services.
Identity & Access Control
Identity & access control involves verifying user identities and managing access rights. You need to know who your users are, what rights and roles they have, how to grant or revoke their access, and how to prevent or detect abuse or fraud.
Data Security
Data security refers to how you protect the data you collect, process, store, share, or delete from unauthorized or unwanted access, alteration, loss, or leaks. You need to know what data you have, where it is located, how it is classified, how long you retain it, and how you encrypt or anonymize it.
System Security
System Security refers to the systems you use to deliver your services, such as servers, databases, applications, or websites. It also covers how to secure them against attacks from outside or within. You need to know how to configure, patch, scan, monitor, and isolate your systems to protect them from malware, hackers, or other threats.
Resilient Networks and Systems
"Resilient Networks & Systems" refers to networks and systems that can withstand attacks or disruptions and recover quickly.
They can recover quickly and continue to function even if something goes wrong. An example of a resilient network is one that has multiple routes for transmitting data, so that if one route is blocked, another is available.
User Awareness Training
User awareness training ensures that employees are aware of risks and threats and can use computers and the Internet safely. The goal is to make users aware of the risks and threats that exist and how they can prevent or mitigate them.
