▶ NIS2: Detecting Cybersecurity Incidents

‘NIS2: Detecting Cybersecurity Incidents’ refers to the detection and identification of attacks or breaches of a network or system’s security. The goal is to determine as quickly as possible what happened, who is responsible, and what the consequences are.

Security Monitoring

Security monitoring is the continuous observation and analysis of the security status of a network or system in order to detect and respond to potential attacks. An example of security monitoring is the use of a dashboard that displays the performance, availability, and security incidents of a network or system.

Proactive Security Event Detection

Proactive security event discovery is the process of actively searching for and identifying security issues in a network or system. The goal is to anticipate potential attacks or areas for improvement and prepare for them.
